In 1989, Streivor became incorporated and started business. Streivor’s goal was to continuously Strive and develop a strong lasting foundation, built on hard work, integrity, consistency, honesty, quality products and service. Streivor’s initial product line consisted primarily of fabricated of stainless steel products for the commercial food service industry. Streivor’s products included stainless steel scullery sinks, dish tables, work tables, shelving and custom equipment to name a few. Streivor’s products and work ethics were quickly accepted by the professionals in the food service industry and Streivor saw rapid sales growth in a very short period of time.
In 1991, Streivor became a licensed C-43 sheet metal contractor and expanded the company from a solely manufacturing company into a manufacturing and contracting company. The expansion of Streivor into the contracting field led Streivor into the installation of Streivor’s manufactured products as well as the manufactured products of other companies. As Streivor was installing manufactured products of other companies it became apparent to Streivor that there were several opportunities to expand into additional product areas. This was do the fact that the other companies were not manufacturing their products to the high level of quality, design, engineering or value that Streivor was incorporating into their products and service.
In 1995, Streivor obtained UL Listings and began manufacturing a full line of commercial kitchen ventilation hoods, with outstanding design and engineering characteristics.
In1996, Streivor added a full line of kitchen ventilation exhaust and supply fans as well as roof curbs.
In 1996, Streivor began designing, engineering, and installing a full line of commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
In 1998, Streivor received our first patent for cartridge filters
In 2001, Streivor obtained our second patent for Streivor’s “Grease Guzzler” filter, a high velocity high slot adjustable cartridge filter.
In 2001, Streivor obtained the first ever UL and ULC 1046 Classification for a high velocity cartridge file.
In 2002, Streivor released our Cartridge wash rack, the first rack ever that allowed for three filters to be completely washed in a commercial dish wash machine in wash cycle.
In 2008, Streivor released our patent pending “Smart Aire” hood line, one of the most energy efficient commercial kitchen canopy hoods ever designed.
Streivor plans to continue to strive to expand Streivor’s outstanding product lines and also to build on Streivor’s foundation by adding additional employees that strive to maintain and live by Streivor’s core values.
